The Clarks are family friends I’ve known for most of my life.

They sold the condo in the fall of 2018. They gave us so much good advice going into it. They really helped us with the prep, and made staging suggestions, mostly using what we had…we said that it had never looked so good! The photography was great, the brochure was really nice, and the Open Houses were easy.

They gave us great advice about pricing, making sure we set a realistic asking price. And they REALLY listened. They handled the whole process with such good taste. Their attentiveness, and just listening, made us feel so confident about everything. The attention to every detail was super throughout. They did such a thorough job of market research, both when we sold and with our purchase.

We were preparing to get married, and that was a ton of work. After selling, Dale and Jennifer were so understanding about our not rushing into purchasing right away. They even said we should have a little breathing room!

When we were ready to buy, they did such a great job of educating us. A big part of it was the knowledge on the different neighbourhoods — even talking to neighbours. We had such good conversations in advance that when something came up we were really well-educated. I felt like a realtor!

The negotiations were pretty easy, because we had such great conversations in advance. They were so great in giving us their honest opinions about everything, and not holding back their thoughts. Then they let us make the decisions. It was all so crystal clear…they knew our breaking points so well that when something came up we were well-prepared. It was definitely a group effort. They were great about following up on everything, too.

We were lucky when this place came up…they helped us make a reasonable offer on it, it’s in our prime location and it was move-in ready, which was great. We’re not really fixer-uppers!
