They say at the Vancouver Fall Home Show you can find everything from soup to nuts (or at least soap to sun decks) and that’s probably the case at the 2022 show at Convention Centre West. Between now and six o’clock Sunday, there’s an eclectic selection of “home” goods and furnishings.
For example, you can find fancy fireplaces or beef jerky. You can learn about the latest in home security, or sign up to play paint ball ($9 per adult). You can buy enough garage organizers to reduce the clutter, or skin care products under the heading of “gentle lifting.”
Naturally, there are plenty of traditional home subjects, including a variety of options for designing and renovating kitchens and bathrooms in particular, and entire homes. Built-in vacuums, painting to be done and paintings to hang, solar panels for the roof and windows for the walls are all among the attractions for home improvements.
You can even send your home for higher education — isn’t that what “smart homes” means? — to make it more efficient, or dress it up with flooring or plants or neon signs. B.C. Hydro is one of the major exhibitors, again with lots of good ideas for keeping your home warm in winter and cool in summer while being environmentally responsible.
As usual, the Vancouver Fall Home Show has something for everyone, and part of the attraction is what it has most of…ideas.
