Style of house: personal preference, mobility keys

What’s the right style of home for you?
Options may include the following: two-storey to duplex to split-level to bungalow.
These are personal preferences, of course. Seniors tend to want bungalows with fewer stairs. Families sometimes find a two-storey best: bedrooms up, everything else down.
Beyond that, there’s no criteria.
However, resale value is important, right?
While proximity to amenities, square footage, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, kitchen functionality are all factors in whether a house has good resale value, style of house usually is not.
The Canadian Real Estate Association determined that style of home is most important for mobility in the eyes of a potential buyer (such as seniors who want a bungalow), when it comes to resale:
“There’s a buyer for everything as long as you’ve got a trusted adviser helping you with understanding what the numbers look like for that type of property in that area.”
That’s where Nexus Realty comes in, with Jennifer (604-726-8768) and Dale (604-922-3353) as trusted advisers.
