Even closet space can help to sell a house

Go clean your closet!
That’s a message kids often hear. People selling homes could hear it, too.
Closets are for storage. They’re also for things you don’t particularly want people to see, sometimes especially if they’re people interested in buying your house.
You may think that somebody looking at your house won’t look in your closets. Think again. They’re for storage, as you know.
So make sure your closets — and anywhere else that you have for storage — looks neat and today, as opposed to cluttered. If it’s cluttered, you can probably remove half of it.
You want closets to look as appealing as the rest of your house. It gives buyers the impression that, if your home becomes their home, there’ll be lots of storage space.
